Youth Fellowship ng LA Tagum

Gusto ko lang ishare how the Lord has been blessing the Tagum ministry and answering prayers esp about sa students ng USEP-TC. Isheshare ko rin yung activites so we’ll be open for your suggestions about what to do with the undergrad network We applied for recognition as a student org just this sem kaya we thank the Lord that we’re already recognized. Mas madali gumawa ng mga activites. Mas madaling humingi ng permit. Meron ng 7 existing open cells. Lord willing after the MAS, may mga cells na na magsisplit and new ones na mabubuo. Let’s pray for each others’ ministries, brothers and sisters. Please pray for us dahil nangangapa pa kami.
One of our regular activities ay ang monthly fellowship. We had the first one on September and the 2nd last month. As we prepared for the first one, we were so excited kasi nga first gathering at first time pa magmemeet ng mga cells. May contact nga ako na nag-invite ng isang friend para sa cell group na inayawan sya kasi daw nag-aatend na rin daw sya ng cell-group sa LA. Natawa sila kasi hindi nila alam na pareho silang nag-aatend ng cell-group ng LA. Kaya excited silang malaman kung sino pa sa mga friends nila ang nagcecell na. Isang prayer request din namin ay ang pag-attend na nila ng Sunday worship service. Hindi sila nakakaattend kasi umuuwi sila during weekends para mang-hold-up (Yun yung term na ginagamit nila kung hihingi ng allowance from their parents). Yun din daw yung time na makatulong sila sa bahay. Most of them actually are farmers’ children. Pero I think hindi pa lang makuha ng maturity nila ang maging faithful sa Sunday service. Kaya isang prayer item yan.
Nong first fellowship, our theme was I Timothy 4:12 which goes: “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.” Shempre, the fellowship started with fellowship songs and praise and worship. After that ay presentations by each cellgroup na kumain ng maraming oras kaya mashadong delayed ang fellowship. At the same time ay ang snacks. Nagpalabas kami ng isang slideshow about the endtimes na bisaya. Nakuha yun ng isang brother namin sa Tagum from Kuya Rubin of Bukidnon. Pinapalabas yun nila kung sumasakay ng bus na may TV para magwitnessing. So yung film ay evangelistic and at the same time nakaka-encourage sa mga Christian na. After the film ay nag-small discussion groups (at most 5 members) kung saan pinafacilitate yung mga at least naka-EGR na. May mga discussion questions na inanseran nila. This is for them to derive concrete applications from what they learned. Sayang naman yung natutunan nila kung wala silang action plan about it. After that nagdraw lots for 3 groups to share to everybody what they have discussed. Don sila enjoy na enjoy kasi enjoy yung mga nagreport. Supposedly, my parlor games pa after the discussion kaya lang past eleven na kaya tinapos na lang. Nagstart kasi ng 7pm
Sa 2nd fellowship, the theme was “The Whole Duty of Man” with theme verse, Eccl. 12:13: “Now all has been heard: here is the conclusion of the matter: fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.” Nagstart with fellowship songs, praise and worship, presentations by selected cellgroups. Sumunod ang message by Ptr. Fred Navarro. Nagsmall group discussion ulit. But this time hiniwalay yung mga first timers at winetnessan at ininvite sila at inintriga sa mga cellgroups. Nagreporting ulit ang 3 groups na nabunot. Enjoy mapakinggan ang mga testimonies ng contacts na nagogrw na. Mapapa TO GOD BE THE GLORY! ka. This time may napamigay kaming give-aways para souvenir. Bookmark lang na enjoy naming prenepare. Hindi ulit kami nakapagparlor games kasi almost eleven na.
Praise God at more or less 120 yung naka-attend sa first kasama na workers and 100 sa second. Fishpond pa lang to. We’ll still have to discover those who’ll really prove their love for God and catch the vision. Fourteen of them na medyo nauna na ay nakalista sa mga isasama sa MAS ngayong November 1 and 2. We’re continually praying na sasama nga sila. I hope marami din ang magpopost ng tulad nito para may makuha kaming dagdag na ideas at mainspire din sa pagmiministry.
Let’s continue to make God the God of our individual lives—the God of our thoughts, the God of our actions, the God of our speech, the God of our hopes and dreams, the God of our everything. And let’s make our God our first love. Let’s always be in love with Him and do everything in love (1 Cor 16: 14)…Oh, I’m so in love!!!

Sana may makasama kau sa cell na taga amin (from Banaybanay).. coz I've been prayin na maraming maging Christian sa school namin.. last three years ago I visited my former school and i've shared my life testimony sa knila.. hoping na by God's grace lalakas pa ang Tagum Undergrads.... Actually kuya meron akong 2 contacts from banaybanay. Kilala ka nila. Hehe. Si ivy Libre and eliza diadivas. Si Ivy sasama sa MAS.
